Oensingen, Switzerland

Designed by Pawel Borsuk and Rafal Pelc of Enbio Group AG, Enbio S Autoclave merges years of research into a state-of-the-art piece of modern medical technology that boasts a range of distinctive features.

Enbio Autoclave is the world’s fastest vacuum-class autoclave, designed for superfast instrument sterilization in medical clinics, dental offices and beauty parlors.

Enbio S Autoclave has recently been awarded a 2022 Good Design Award by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

Its sleek, compact design merges seamlessly into any modern working environment, and easily fits on a countertop.

Enbio’s truly singular design, composed of simple geometric primaries, creates a new definition of simplicity and perfection in autoclave design.

Inspired by the Voronoi diagram, a mathematical formula used for modeling cell structures, an intriguing instrument tray pattern describes a subtle bond between technology and nature.

Large, precise touch screen embedded into the main body connects with the user at an angle that facilitates control, seamless user experience and immediate understanding of function.

Enbio S Autoclave merges years of extensive research into a state-of-the-art piece of modern medical technology, with distinctive features like pressure-injected aluminum process chamber with cast-integrated heaters and precise and computer-controlled steam injection.

With decorative, customizable LED lighting in air inlets, Enbio goes beyond simple utility and into interior design territory.

With a combination of meticulous attention to design, engineering, and software, Enbio smashes the benchmark for the fastest vacuum-class autoclave while defeating the square, boxy design standards that have dominated the category for almost 70 years.
